Trade Show Project Manager

Full-Time: 40 hours/week
We are seeking a Tradeshow Project Manager to oversee and help execute this company's Flagship Annual Trade Show and supporting events. This PM will report to their Marketing Events Manager. They will be interfacing with many of the internal employees, vendors, sponsors and tradeshow service providers to ensure smooth production of the Event. Budget oversight, and timeline management are important parts of this role. This PM would work closely with demand and creative internally. Externally, they would work with the service providers charged with design and assembly of trade show booths and exhibit houses. The position is remote but does require some travel. Travel estimates are once a month in north America. Locations include typical trade show cities: Las Vegas, Chicago, San Diego, Orlando….ect. Overtime is anticipated during travel weeks for trade shows. Travel involves ensuring booths and exhibit houses are assembled, powered and functioning to spec. In short, a point person to keep their trade shows running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for being the Events Team point person for tradeshows.
- Manage contractors, vendors, production schedules, and budgets associated
with event execution.
- Responsible to attend the shows to oversee booth setup, maintaining the booth during the
event, and breakdown.
- Establish strong alignment and collaboration with internal cross-functional team
members: Demand Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Copy, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of executing successful, polished events that are on-time
and on-budget.
- Prior experience working with Microsoft suite of technologies including Outlook and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Communications management within tools such as MS Teams and Slack.
- Exceptional oral and written communicator, who can inspire and lead partners to
bring a vision to life.
- Willingness to travel and represent the company onsite at each event.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Examples of finding ways to get the most out of a tradeshow and/or corporate event.
- Logistics-oriented mindset and an innate attention to detail
