This organization is a local small business power house currently in growth mode. They provide high end Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering solutions. They specialize in designing systems to reduce energy usage, maintain thermal comfort, and promote healthy indoor air quality. The company has grown to provide a list of engineering services such as building/energy analysis, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection (MEP/FP) design, and renewable energy design. Whether it's new construction or retrofit projects, residential or commercial. The goal in 2025 is to grow their team by 6 before the end of the year. This Electrical Engineer will be working with leadership to create a superior service for their clients and their internal teams. Each team member brings critical components to the overall solutions they offer and the ideal person for this role is comfortable in their expertise. Role Description
In the past, when this company engaged a client that needed specific high-end Electrical Engineering expertise, they would sub contract that portion of the project to a third party. The purpose of this role is to identify a Senior Electrical Engineer that can bring that business capability into their organization. This role will be the go-to person within Electrical Engineering for internal project teams and for their clients for high-end property development and renovation. The clients of this company make up mostly Architectural firms and Property Development firms. These firms are building high-end residential, large multi-family residential and commercial facilities. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design, power distribution, and fire alarm systems. They will be working daily with internal Project Managers to provide technical expertise for both pre-project planning as well as projects underway. They will work daily with AutoCAD to provide drafting and analysis. They will also provide Quality Control for plans and documents coming in that require Electrical Engineering expertise. There will be some frequency of client site visits and report writing for client projects.
Qualifications
PE Licensure (required)
Electrical and Power Design
Fire Alarm Design
Minimum 5 years experience in Electrical Engineering or similar field
Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong analytical and technical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

$150K salary Base
